Stephanie Flaherty

PA-C

Stephanie was born in Eugene, Oregon but grew up in Gilbert, Arizona, graduating from Gilbert High School. Growing up, she was involved in many after school activities, including gymnastics, theater, speech and the debate club. This love of activities has been passed on to her children, who also are involved in sports and theater arts.

After graduating from high school, Stephanie attended Arizona State University. At first, she declared her major as Psychology, but it was not soon after that she decided to change it to the medical field. The opportunity for lifelong learning where she could make a difference in other people’s lives was too difficult for her to pass up and she has not looked back.

“The most rewarding part of practicing medicine is the ability to help others.”

Stephanie, just like the rest of Warner Family Practice, knows the value of placing an emphasis on preventative care. She wants to give the patient the power to control their outcomes to positively impact their health.

It’s this journey that brings joy to Stephanie. Everybody comes with different situations, some good and some bad. Bad choices may have been made in the past; when you focus on what you can do now, you can overcome these struggles and move forward.

“When I see a patient in a follow-up and they are feeling better, their labs are better or they overcome their obstacle in their journey to health, that’s what I define as success.”

Outside of the office, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her main focus is raising her children, always putting the effort towards making sure they have opportunities with sports and theater arts.
